• We opted for the cheapest Adidas shorts and socks to finish off this package, as the Tiro 23 ones were a bit pricey.

• Delivery price varies, so be careful. We also tried a Northern Ireland postcode and delivery came in at £41.

• Personalisation costs extra but is well priced, don't forget to factor it in when pricing your kit. We opted for the cheapest print badge and numbers, we love the auto-fill function for numbers.

• This was part of a package deal, which is great to see. They even had offers which include a full strip and tracksuit.

• Total Price - £425.15 (with £8.99 Delivery)

• Very nice aesthetics, this site covers a number of sports and seemed to respond very quickly when we put it through its aces.

• Provides stock details so you can check before ordering that they have all of your sizes in. Although stock levels don't appear to be as good as website 1.

• No club shop available.

• Some very good offers available and uses the party line "We won't be beaten on price", we believe them so definitely worth checking out if your on a budget.

• They do a lot of previous season stuff, so if you're happy with a bargain on last years lines then this is your place to go. Be weary of stock levels, if purchasing older kits, you may find they go out of stock and you cannot purchase replacements/additional kit.

Pro:Direct Soccer is a renowned sports retailer offering a dedicated teamwear section on their website. The site looks great but don't believe everything you see, our experience was not good, read on to see the problems we experienced.

• Personalisation is fantastic with great visuals and an endless number of options.

• Personalisation costs extra but seems well priced, don't forget to factor it in when pricing your kit. We gave up as the site kept asking us to log in so we used their price then just worked out the total ourselves.

• Total Price - £529.60 - We couldn't find a delivery price, although it looks like it might be free.

• Very nice aesthetics, that's where it ends.

• The site dropped everything in our basket, just as we were trying to get through the checkout.

• Prompts you to log in every few clicks or pages, very frustrating when you can't even price up a strip without logging in.

• Offers 'Clubhouse' which includes a kit designer, Coerver Coaching and a Club Shop.

• This seems more like a store that has bolted some teamwear onto it (like buying your strips from JD Sports or Sports Direct). A very frustrating experience that we are disappointed in, as it had bags of potential.

• Stock levels were frustrating and forced the price up a lot, with none of the cheaper shorts and socks being in stock.

• We have heard that they offer good deals, so perhaps better reaching out to them for a quote if you have a bit more time.

Custom kit are well priced and one of the smaller suppliers on our list. they seem more focused on offering customised kits, rather than branded. Maybe it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Customisation lets you chose from well known kits and tweak the colours/styling to suit your team, we had a play and came up with some great designs. It's also very intuitive and easy to use.

• Personalisation is well priced and easy enough to navigate but not added whilst ordering your tops, you add it seperately.

• Some great customisation offers if you wanted your own style.

• Total Price - £552 - Delivery free over £250

• Has a reasonable selection of kits, if they have what you need they offer some good pricing so worth checking out. If they don't have it, don't waste too much time as stock levels aren't great for branded kits.

• The price quoted above is a bit mythical as we struggled to find a matching kit with the right stock levels, so that price is a best case if everything was in stock.

Recommendations

Stock levels may be your deciding factor and what kit you desire. Our 2 favourites throughout the process were 3Q Sports, a little bit higher priced individually but with some great discounts and loads of personalisation options, their site was easy to use to order in bulk and definitely our favourite. Make sure to check out their bundles as they could easily beat a lot of competitors and make your job a lot easier. Next we'd go with Total Football, smaller than the rest and the lack of price filter is a negative but the rest of the site was so simple we'd definitely use it again.
